About Our Home
Glengarth, our family home nestled in the heart of Perthshire, holds a special place in our hearts. The Bell family have called this beautiful part of Scotland home for over 150 years, embracing its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and ever-changing seasons.
With a desire to share the magic of Perthshire with friends and family, we created a space where memories could be made—where laughter fills the rooms, stories are shared by the fire, and the stunning beauty of Scotland is right on your doorstep.
Now, we open our home to you, inviting you to experience the charm of all four seasons (sometimes in one day!) and create your own unforgettable moments in this extraordinary place.
About The Family
The Bell family’s roots in Crieff, Perthshire date back to 1901, when they first settled at Craggan Farm and then Culticheldoch Farm, both on the Drummond Castle Estate, before moving to nearby Muthill village in 1989. Drummond Castle, the main house on the estate, is renowned for its world-famous gardens, which are open to the public and attract visitors from around the world. The estate and its stunning gardens are an integral part of the local heritage and offer a glimpse into Scotland’s storied past.
In keeping with Scottish tradition, where it is not uncommon for sons to carry their forebears’ first names, the family proudly continues this legacy, with the 9th generation of William Bell now owning Glengarth. Their long-standing presence in the area is a testament to their deep connection to the land and local heritage.
